AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
Air Source heat pumps are a renewable source of energy which is seen as part of the government’s incentives to go green. Households can benefit from the RHI (Renewable Heat incentive) scheme which means that you are entailed to cash back on the amount of energy produced on a Quarterly basis.
Air-to-water heat pumps use the heat from the outside air to warm a home’s central heating and hot water system. Even when it’s freezing outside, the air-to-water heat pump can extract heat from the air.
The unique thing about the Air Source heat pump is that it has annual efficiencies of 300% and COP of 5* this being more efficient than the fossil fuel boilers which is under the 100% mark. Like the conventional methods you can run radiators and underfloor heating, but you also have the option to run solar energy. For every kilowatt of electricity, the heat pump uses, it generates about 3-4 kilowatts of renewable heat from the air.
Let’s work together on ensuring a greener and safer environment for future generations.
